My photography career literally began when I took to the sky. Working as an aerial photographer allowed me to tell the story of our great wild continent as I saw it from above. It was scarred as a wild thing we have tried to tame. Like a living, breathing skin pocked and marked by a life lived dangerously, destructively and beautifully. It taught me that looking at the ordinary from a different perspective can unearth a raw beauty that could otherwise be missed.

This philosophy directs my photography. I take photos everyday because it helps me see our world more clearly.

Whatever I photograph I want to capture it with candid, graceful honesty. I take photographs for art’s sake, for story’s sake, to make sense of life and as a series of documentaries. I take photographs because I love to.

Love a good puddle…
My great mate @jasonreekiephoto rescued a beautiful black shepherd named Heidi that had been severely neglected. It was lovely to see the bond between them that Jase has nurtured over the last few years while on a recent camping trip.
Cinema - I just watched the movie ‘Lee’ about the life of pioneering war photographer Lee Miller played by Kate Winslet. What’s your most recent movie watch? 🎥🍿
The big blue. Definitely my happy place, whether I’m in it or looking at at 🌊
Melb city from the weekend. I happened to notice the storm clouds while out and about and was able to capture a couple pics before the rain arrived 💦
I became a little obsessed with chimneys in Paris
Coming from Melbourne, there were a distinct lack of 4WDs in Paris 😉
Peak hour on the canals
Rovinj was previously governed by The Rupublic of Venice, and coming to Rovinj via ferry from Venice, you can definitely see the architectural influences. I climbed some very rickety wooden steps in an old church for this beautiful view of the old to
While I love our sandy beaches, rocky coastlines such as Croatia definitely has its advantages…
